Here we are 1st game of 2015. Hope we continue where we left 2014 with a win .
Still no team news . That hasn't changed . Live in hope . Perhaps we will have a program this week . No excuse the printer was on holidays . Other clubs had them

It's poor that their was no program again.. Local companies have given the club money to place their adverts in it..
If someone cannot do it then their should be a back up .
If we don't make money from programs then don't bother with printing them but let's be open about.
It's sums up how the club has been run over the years.
This is why supporters and sponsors have walked away. People don't want much they just want to feel included and appreciated.
To get something you have to give a little and treat people with respect.. Tell people what's going on..
But this will never change I fear. I thought the KGB was a thing of the past but it's alive and kicking in that back room of the club
To finish on a more positive note I feel another win this weekend . Good luck lads !!!

I and others have tried over the years but have been knocked back .
The trouble is their will be a massive void in the near future when idris finishes. (I've been told this his last season).
I don't want to dwindle on the negatives . We have some really good people at the club and I'm hopeful that we can stay in this division but I do fear we have missed too many opportunities in the past off the field which will come back to haunt us.. Now their are not enough people who care because of these mistakes to drive the club forward.
I hope I'm wrong , I really do..
Over to you cieber

Another step in the right direction.
Although tondu finished strongly and grabbed a losing bonus point I always though we looked in control.
Kyle Taylor outstanding and Liam davies orchestrated .
The forwards set in the platform.
Rumours going round that blackwood lost heavily . Not nice to see.

We have to give the coaching staff and the players a lot of credit for the work that has been done in the last 8 weeks.. Big turn around from losing 62-0 to winning 17-9 !Blackwood seem to be in freefall , only 4 points above us and with a larger points difference(and we have a game in hand)

Griff. I agree the coaching staff and players deserve a pat on the back. I feel that the team will improve further as the season goes on.
The supporters who have stuck with the team also deserve a mention. Their are many who have drifted away over the last few seasons but the real die hards have stuck with it..

Pantboy, back in the day when we all worked 5 on and Saturday & Sunday off all rugby clubs were full. Saturday for rugby and Sunday for chapel. Nowadays employers want more flexible workforce so Saturdays and Sundays are not sacrosanct. I have held a season ticket every year for the past 20 that i have been able to attend, in total probably 5, otherwise i turn up when i can. I'm no less a fervent supporter than anyone else. I have a supporters jersey for all of the last 5-6 years. I have Jon Hawkers 13 shirt from back in the day, i am blue and black to the bone and you will know when i'm there because i give it max on the terrace. The fall in support throughout Wales for club rugby rests at the door of the world economy, the wru, comprehensive education and the welfare state. Idris McCarthey's wallet has been our Thermopylae but not for much longer i feel.

If I didn't work every other Saturday (and overtime on my Saturdays off) I would be at every home game however as I have said previously all the home games have fallen on my working Saturday this season so not had any chance to get down.

Gents , if you have to work you have to work..
Just get there when able as you are all vital and are the life blood of the club we all love . Whether it's standing on the terraces or having a pint in the bar .
Let's stick together and drive the club back to where we should be.
Not nice to see blackwood lose like that, not good for the game in this area. ( i hear they have stopped paying) I hope they can turn it about and don't end up like Tredegar or abertillery . Hence why we need everyone who supports us to do as much as they can to drive our club forward .
Roll on the next game!

Excellent effort from the lads on the weekend. The coaches have done wonders with the squad they inherited. I am starting to think we may actually be ok!! Long way to go but tondu put 62 unanswered points past us a couple of months ago. No sign of that happening on the weekend.
